propel-ant is a professional services firm that works with businesses to develop management, marketing, sales and technology solutions. We designed a website for the firm to give it an online presence and communicate its broad range of problem-solving solutions. An "I Want To" section enables users to select from a list of goals and learn how propel-ant can help accomplish them. As an alternative to stock photography, we created playful original illustrations for the website's descriptive interior pages.

Darling Design created this award-winning e-commerce site for a line of skincare products that focuses on combating the effects of stress on the skin. The content-rich site uses a "Stress 101" section featuring stress Q&A's, a stress test, stress tips and articles to educate consumers—and offer the solution to overstressed skin with an array of premium products. A clean design and cool color palette serve to convey the purity of skyn ICELAND products, as well as an overall sense of clarity and harmony: the antithesis of stress.

Darling Design originally created a website for traditional Chinese medical practitioner Dr. Daniel Hsu in 2005 with a focus on educating people from western backgrounds on eastern medicine. We recently redesigned the site to reflect current trends in online communication. The new site features a dynamic home page with a rotating informational slideshow as well as nuggets for recent press, news, and blog posts.

Transition Year is a joint initiative of the Jed Foundation and the American Psychiatric Foundation focusing on the challenges students face during the transition from high school to college. Serving as the initiative's online hub, the website is a substantial resource. It features student and parent portals, offering access to articles, Q&A, tools, forums and more. Users can manage data on colleges, which can be pulled from the site's own college wiki. A Content Management System (CMS) enables the client to update 90% of the site.

GoodTrueBeautiful, Inc. is a unique organization, part e-commerce and part community, born out of founder and author Beth Nonte Russell's experience adopting a baby from China. Darling Design created a website to embody all of its aspects, with the goal of not only selling products but also engaging visitors in Russell's inspiring personal story. Visitors are invited to reflect on what is good, true and beautiful in their lives, share their experiences, and send meditation e-cards.

New York City dermatologist Dr. Amy Wechsler takes a unique approach to her specialty, drawing on her background in psychology to treat patients holistically. We redesigned her website to more effectively communicate her approach and differentiate her from other doctors in her field. The redesigned site is visually inviting, instilling a sense of comfort and trust while providing helpful information on Dr. Wechsler's philosophy and practice. We also developed a CMS to enable Dr. Wechsler to easily update certain areas of the site.

Biscoche.com is an online business specializing in handcrafted, made-to-order macaroons in a variety of unique flavors. In creating Biscoche's e-commerce website, Darling Design's goal was to appeal to the target audience by conveying an established, upscale brand offering an exceptional gourmet product "for the sophisticated sweet tooth." We also sought to drive sales by positioning Biscoche macaroons as the perfect gift for businesses and special occasions.

This award-winning website, designed to market luxury condominiums in Rio de Janeiro to North Americans and Europeans, showcases the residences as well as the lifestyle and scenic beauty of Rio through the use of lush imagery and descriptive copy. Detailed information provides a comfort level regarding LuxoRio's proprietary real estate transaction process.

Darling Design developed the design, architecture and content for Nancy Koltes' wholesale website, including front and back end programming. Elegant design featuring rotating Flash banners supports the upscale brand, while rich functionality includes the ability to view products in various colors and cross-reference coordinating products. A print CSS file enables users to print product pages. A Content Management System (CMS) makes it easy to update products, stores, press and contacts.
